Manipal University College Malaysia (MUCM) was established in 1997 as Melaka-Manipal Medical College (MMMC). It has nurtured over 10,000 doctors from Malaysia and internationally, with many of our graduates having gone on to specialise in various fields in Malaysia as well as in the UK, USA, Australia, etc. A well-planned curriculum taught by dedicated faculty members, places emphasis on the correlation between basic science and clinical science training. Students are provided with cadaveric learning experience that will enhance their surgical knowledge of the human body.
In January 2021, MMMC was upgraded to University College status, thus giving rise to the Manipal University College Malaysia (MUCM); the result of a long-standing and fruitful relationship between MMMC and the Malaysian Government to address the education needs of the nation by providing quality, affordable medical education while meeting all the requirements of the regulatory bodies.
MUCM boasts a sprawling, state-of-the-art campus of over 50 acres in Melaka and Muar. The facilities in the Melaka campus include various teaching and learning facilities, auditoriums, lecture halls, classrooms, science labs, skill labs, library, and computer labs. Other amenities include student hostels, cafeterias, gymnasium, swimming pool, sauna, squash courts, football field and basketball court.
